Ladies Day at Aintree takes place on Day 2 of the Grand National Festival. This Friday afternoon cracker features excellent prizes in the Style Awards, entertainment in the stands, and the legendary Liverpudlian hospitality.
Next Year: Friday 9th April 2027This much-anticipated Ascot Ladies Day takes place on Day 3 of the Royal Ascot Festival in June. Dripping in sophistication, Ascot Ladies Day features a Royal procession before racing, the prestigious Gold Cup, and racing’s most impressive fashion parade.
Next Year: Thursday 17th June 2027The second Ladies Day of the year at Ayr takes place on Day 2 of the Ayr Gold Cup Festival in September. There are excellent prizes on offer in the Style Awards, while entertainment in the stands keeps the party going after racing.
Ayr runs two Ladies Days, the first of which takes place on the Friday of the Scottish Grand National festival.
Next Year: Friday 16th April 2027Traditionally taking place in July or August, Ladies Day at Bangor is occasionally held in the springtime month of May. Racegoers can expect live music, an excellent atmosphere, and a Best Dressed competition.
Taking place in June each year, Ladies Day at Bath is a key event on the summer social calendar. Special offers on drinks, a live DJ after party, and a Style Awards competition help make this one of the biggest days of the year at the Somerset course.
Benefitting from an August slot, Ladies Day at Beverley is regularly bathed in sunshine. Alongside the racing, those in attendance can enjoy live entertainment, Style Awards, and plentiful refreshments in the stands.
Ladies Day at Brighton takes place on Day 2 of the track’s popular Festival of Racing fixture in August. Offering wonderful coastal views and live entertainment, this popular fixture is renowned for its copious consumption of prosecco and strawberries.
Carlisle Racecourse goes all in with the female theme at the track’s official Ladies Night on the first Saturday in July. This summertime highlight is famous as the only UK racecard restricted entirely to female jockeys.
Next Year: Saturday 3rd July 2027Usually taking place on a Saturday afternoon in July, Cartmel’s Ladies Day aims to cater to all. Everyone has a chance to win a prize on the day, with awards for the Best Dressed Lady, Best Dressed Gentleman, Sustainable Style, and even the Best Turned-Out Dog.
Catterick hosts two Ladies Day fixtures each year. Countryside Ladies Day is held on the final day of the Catterick National Hunt season in early March. The six race card also comes with awards for Best Dressed Lady and Best Accessory.
Catterick’s second Ladies Day of the year takes place later in August. The Summertime Ladies Day features live music, free children’s entertainment, and stylish prizes for the Best Dressed Lady.
The most anticipated social event of the Chelmsford City season arrives in August. Chelmsford City receives a makeover for Ladies Day, with the traditional layout replaced by a collection of small villages, including Fashion Village and Wellness Village.
Ladies Day at Cheltenham takes place on Day 2 of the magnificent Cheltenham Festival in March. Combining a picturesque Cotswolds setting, outstanding facilities, and top-class racing, this fixture features high on the wish list of many racegoers. Well-dressed racegoers can take their shot at over £10,000 in prizes in the Best Dressed Racegoer, Best Dressed Duo, and Best Dressed Group competitions.
Next Year: Wednesday 17th March 2027Chepstow hosts a Summer Ladies Day that takes place in late June/early July and celebrates the best of summer fashion with a popular Style Awards competition.
While Chester’s most famous Ladies Day takes place on the Wednesday of the May Festival, there is also a standalone Ladies Day that takes place in in August and offers “jaw-dropping” prizes in the Best Dressed competition, and a post-racing celebrity DJ set.
The main Ladies Day at Chester takes place on the Wednesday of the track’s prestigious three-day May Festival, although they do also put on a stand alone Ladies Day later in the year.
Labelled “Yorkshire’s biggest social event of the year”, Ladies Day at Doncaster takes place on the opening Thursday of the St Leger Festival in September. Ladies Day racegoers can enhance the occasion with a bottomless brunch at The Old Weighing Room or fine dining at the Home Straight restaurant.
Ladies Day at Epsom is held on the opening day of the two-day Epsom Derby Festival in June. The Epsom Oaks takes centre stage on the track, making this the only Ladies Day in the UK which is lit up by a Classic contest.
Next Year: Friday 4th June 2027Taking place on a Sunday afternoon in late May/early June, Ladies Day is the glamour event of the year at Fakenham. Prizes including stays away, spa trips, vouchers and food and drink, and go to the Best Dressed Individual, Best Dressed Couples, Best Hat, and Best Dressed Child.
The Carmarthenshire course of Ffos Las hosts an exciting Ladies Day fixture on a Friday afternoon in August. Cash prizes are up for grabs for the Most Stylish Lady and Most Stylish Gent, while the track turns into an open-air concert following the final race.
Fontwell Park celebrates the arrival of the August Bank Holiday weekend with a vibrant Ladies Evening. Offering additional entertainment, such as light shows and live music, this is one of the biggest fixtures of the year at the West Sussex venue.
Taking place on Day 3 of the five-day Qatar Goodwood Festival, this summertime sizzler is racing’s biggest garden party. The buzzing Earl’s Lawn features live music, cocktails, and street food, in the summer sun, while the ladies theme continues on the track with the female-jockey-only Magnolia Cup.
Ladies Night lights up the Lanarkshire track as a standalone Saturday evening fixture in late July/early August each year. With live music from big-name acts before and after racing, this is an excellent option for music lovers.
Bursting with Merseyside charm, this summertime Ladies Day is the second day of the Rose of Lancaster Carnival on a Saturday afternoon in early August. A classic Ladies Day, this popular fixture includes a Style Awards competition and a DJ afterparty.
Ladies Day at this quaint West Midlands course is traditionally held in March. This springtime highlight combines the thrills of National Hunt racing with a best dressed competition, hearty seasonal food and drink, and a cosy atmosphere.
Northumberland’s only racecourse hosts a well-attended Ladies Day in the summer month of June. Racegoers have a chance to win a prize in the Best Dressed Lady, Best Hat, Best Dressed Gentleman, and Best Dressed Junior categories.
Ladies Day at the Borders venue is held in late May, at the track’s final fixture of the season. Prizes go to the Best Dressed Couple, The Dapper Chap, and The Queen of Style, before live music and a post-racing afterparty.
Leicester’s Smooth Radio Ladies Day in July combines competitive flat racing with a Best Dressed Competition and Live Music from a big-name act – Heather Small and Sophie Ellis-Bextor have taken to the stage in previous years.
Officially titled Ladies Day Summer Sounds, this Lingfield Park fixture is held on a Saturday evening in late August. Ladies Day extras include Style Awards prizes and a post-racing DJ set from a celebrity act.
Celebrating fashion, shopping, and, of course, racing, Ladies Day acts as Ludlow’s seasonal finale in May. Those heading to the Shropshire venue can expect pop-up cocktail bars, live entertainment, and best dressed competitions.
Already the biggest day of the season at Market Rasen, Summer Plate Day in July doubles as the track’s official Ladies Day. A beautiful floral setting, Style Awards, Pimm’s Bar, and Live DJ afterparty combine to make this one of Lincolnshire’s biggest social occasions.
One of Scotland’s biggest Ladies Day fixtures takes place at Musselburgh in early August. A standalone Friday afternoon fixture, Ladies Day brings elegance, style, and glamour to the Firth of Forth venue.

Ladies Day at Newmarket opens the prestigious three-day July Festival. Catch the eye of the judges to win an on-the-spot Best Turned-Out prize or have your photo taken paparazzi style by the on-course photographers. After racing, head to The Lawn for the after party complete with live music.
Ladies Day at this picturesque Devon track lights up Newton Abbot’s summer schedule in June. Usually held on a Tuesday evening, racegoers can enjoy music from local bands, Pink Fizz Picnics, and Best Dressed prizes for the most stylish Lady, Man, and Couple.
Nottingham opens its doors for Ladies Day on a Saturday afternoon in early May. A key date in the spring social calendar, this is the only meeting of the year that sees Nottingham offer a Premier Enclosure experience.
Next Year: Saturday 8th May 2027Britain’s northernmost Ladies Day is held at Perth in May. This midweek spectacular regularly sells out and is famous for the wonderful atmosphere in the stands. The best-dressed win prizes in the Style Awards, before the fun continues with an after-party on the main stage.
The East Sussex track of Plumpton normally closes its season with the official Ladies Day fixture in May, although in the 2026 edition it was moved to September. This family-friendly race day features garden games for the kids and prizes for the best-dressed ladies, gents, and children.
Affectionately referred to as Ponte Carlo, this popular West Yorkshire track stages a Ladies Day in early August. Complete with fashion shows, cocktail bars, and Prosecco Lawns, this fixture offers spectacular prizes in the Best Dressed Lady competition.

Ladies Day at this track on the banks of the River Severn takes place on a Saturday afternoon in early June. Dress to impress for a chance to win a prize and then stick around for the post-racing party hosted by a celebrity DJ.
The Norfolk track of Yarmouth treats fans to not one but two Ladies Day events. The first is Ladies Evening which takes place as a standalone fixture in July.
The second Ladies Day to take place at Yarmouth is third and final day of the Eastern Festival.
Ladies Day at York lights up the second day of the prestigious Ebor Festival in August. Featuring Group 1 action on the track, luxury prizes in the style awards, and excellent facilities, this is one of the most popular Ladies Day fixtures in the North, if not the whole country.
